Hand-knotted Alpaca-filled Comforters & Throws

Hypo-allergenic Alternative!

The fiber is shorn from our alpacas in the spring, then sent to a mill to be washed, carded and made into the comforter batting. When it comes back to Missouri, we add the luxury cover and knot the comforter by hand. The result is a beautiful and practical luxury.

This afghan is 100% alpaca fiber from our alpaca mom named Mira. The fiber was shorn, skirted and sent to a small mill where it was washed, carded and spun into yarn. The table runner design on which the afghan is loosely based was originally published by Cora Kirchmaier in 1919.
