Meet Canela!
Canela is our alpha female--first to notice the deer in the field to the south and first to notice it's feeding time. Since she is the alpha female, her quiet, gentle nature sets a wonderful tone for the herd. While she keeps that pear-shaped belly all year round, she produces beautiful, prize-winning crias. She's such an easy birther that she's been known to chew her cud between contractions! Canela is in the middle of her most productive years and would make a great foundation animal for beginning breeders or a solid addition to an existing herd.
